◆In JJ Thomson’s model, an atom was considered to be full of positive matter like a pudding whereas in Rutherford’s model, atom consists mainly of space.
◆ The mass of the atom is concentrated in the nucleus of the atom in Rutherford’s model whereas there is no nucleus in Thomson’s model
◆The electrons were embedded like plums in the pudding (positive matter) in Thomson’s model whereas the electrons move around the nucleus like planets around the sun in Rutherford’s model.
