The Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana is a national scheme meant for people below the poverty line. It aims towards providing financial services such as banking/deposits, loans, credits, insurance at an affordable rates for people who does not have adequate access to this facilities.

Benefits of the PMJDY scheme include no minimum balance, accidental insurance coverage of 1lakh rupees, low interest rates on deposit and money can be easily transferable from any part of the country.



The Rashtriya swastha Bima Yojana is a scheme meant to provide free health insurance to people working in the unorganised sector belonging to the BPL category. This insurance also includes the family members of the worker (maximum unit of 5).

Benefits of the RSBY scheme are the cashless hospitalization costs and treatment of various illnesses with exception of few. The total insurance sum for the family 30000/- per annum.



Deen Dayal antyodya Yojana is a national scheme to provide training in various skills for the poor and homeless. Training may be provided in various training centres or markets. Skills will enable the poor and help them with various jobs and employment opportunities. A minimum of 2lacs rupees is supposed to be disbursed among individuals as a part of the scheme and an amount of 10 lacs rupees is given to micro-enterprises who set up for providing skill training.
