Agricultural practices which are not environment friendly:
1. terracing.
2. contour ploughing
Terracing is a process in which the hilly regions are arranged in a stepwise manner.. Tilling is done.. There is no check of water flow.. The degradation of the top soil can easily occur.




contour ploughing is the method in which the soil is tilled at a particular portion as to save the top soil. But the water runoff is not checked so far. It is prone to soil erosion. So these are not eco-friendly practices..
