arteries do have down flow that is it transports blood to all tissues . and they do have thick walls . blood pressure is determined by arteries . But viens carry carbonated blood to heart which pumps to lungs to edjacuate

artery and vein are both blood vessels but artery carries blood to the heart from rest of the body while all veins carry deoxyginated blood ... hopes it helps u
