Answer:

Explanation:

The steps are:

-- Soil preparation- The soil is first prepared by plowing and leveling. This loosens the soil and increase the oxygen in it.

-- Sowing- selection of seeds and good quality crops strains the primary stage of sowing. After preparing the soil the seeds are dispersed in the field manually or by drilling machines. This is called sowing.

--Manuring- The plants need nutrients to grow and produce yield. Hence regular supply of nutrients is necessary. Manuring is when these nutrients are supplied. It may be natural(manure) or chemical compounds

--Irrigation- Irrigation is the supply of water. The source of this water may be rivers, lake, dams etc. Over irrigation can cause water logging and damage the crops.

-- Weeding-weeds are unwanted plants growing among the crops. They are removed by weedicides or by hand.

--Harvesting- Once the crop has matured, it is cut and gathered. This is called harvesting. After harvesting, the grains are separated from chaff.

--Storage- The grains yielded are stored in grainaries or in bins in the godown for later use or marketing. Good crop protection is needed to protect it from pests.
