(1) 14 BIOSPHERE RESERVES HAVE BEEN SET UP IN THE COUNTRY TO PROTECT THE FLORA AND FAUNA.

(2) FINANCIAL AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE IS PROVIDED TO MANY BOTANICAL BY THE GOVERNMENT SINCE 1992.

(3) PROJECT TIGER, PROJECT RHINO AND MANY MORE ECO-DEVELOPMENTAL PROJECTS HAVE BEEN INTRODUCED.

(4) 89 NATIONAL PARKS, 490 WILDLIFE SANCTUARIES AND ZOOLOGICAL GARDENS ARE SET UP TO CARE OF NATIONAL HERITAGE.

(5) HUNTING OF ENDANGERED SPECIES OF ANIMALS HAS BEEN BANNED BY THE GOVERNMENT AND PLANS TO STOP THE DEFORESTATION.
