Explanation:

Adjust concave mirror to mirror holder and locate it on table.

Turn the mirror's face in the direction of a far-off object (a candle in this case). The chosen object need to be seen with your naked eyes.

Modify the position of the screen in such a way that it forms a clear image of the candle on the screen.

Measure the distance between the concave mirror and the screen with a meter scale.  

Record your observations in calculation & observation table.  

Repeat this procedure two - three times and find the average of the focal length.​
