AEROBIC resp. - 1. Occurs in presence of oxygen 2. Glucose is the final product.
ANAEROBIC resp. - 1. Occurs in the absence of oxygen 2. Final product is Lactic acid
We feel pain(cramps) in muscles usually after heavy exercises because our muscles had gone through anaerobic respiration due to lack of oxygen which results in formation of lactic acid which causes cramps
ANAEROBIC resp. - 1. Occurs in the absence of oxygen 2. Final product is Lactic acid

Difference between Aerobic and Anaerobic respiration :
Aerobic Respiration
occurs in presence of oxygen
releases large amount of energy
Anaerobic Respiration:
occur in the absence of oxygen
releases relatively small amount of energy
During sudden physical activity, there is a lack of oxygen in our muscular cells, the pathway for the breakdown of pyruvate into lactic acid that develops camps in the body.
