1. Je suis Charlie was started  to fight for the freedom of speech and expression, it started largely on social media in 2015 and later degenerated into a social movement.
2. Jan Lokpal Bill which was an anti corruption movement started in 2011 to protest against corruption that had become rampant in the Indian society.
3. Nirbhaya Movement – 2012 to protest against delhi gang rape. People came out to say enough was enough.
