Functions of the cell-
1.Golgi apparatus-
1-Flattened membranous sac stacked one over the another.
2-Consists of tubules, vesicles and vacuoles.
2.Lysosomes-
1-Membranous sacs budded off from Golgi body.
2-Contain about 40 different types of enzymes.
3.Mitochondria-
1-Contains DNA and enzymes for cellular respiration.
2-Contains their own ribosomes.
3-Double-membranes sausage-like structure.
4.Plastids-
1-Several kinds, most common is chloroplasts containing chlorophyll.
2-Living,double-membraned organelles.
3-Contains DNA and enzymes for photosynthesis.
5.Vacuoles-
1-Non-living.
2-Fluid filled spaces enclosed by membrane called tonoplast.
