Solution :

List price = Rs 9000

Rate of discount = 5%

Discount

$= 5 \: of \: 9000 \: = \frac{5}{100} \times 9000 = rs \: 450$

Sale price after discount = Rs 9000 - Rs 450 = Rs 8350

and

Given .

Rate of tax = 10%

$Sales \: Tax = \frac{10}{100} \times 8550 = rs \: 855$

Therefore ,

The amount a customer has to pay to the dealer = 8550 + 855 = 9405
