Mostly winter sports like curling, ice skating, water polo, hockey, swimming, skiing, snow boarding are some of the games where friction plays a vital role.
Any game that is played on ice will have an impact of friction.
Even advanced players will be slipping and sliding while trying to balance on ice.
Lack of balance is the challenging part of these games.
