MANURE = they are prepared in fields. they are organic. rich in organic nutrients but not rich in Nitrogen , Potassium and Phosphorus. increase the water holding capacity of soil . improve soil texture. make soil porous which facilitates gaseous exchange. not soluble in water example: Compost.

FERTILIZERS = they are prepared in factories. they are inorganic. rich in Nitrogen, Potassium and Phosphorus. continuous use leads to soil and water pollution. example: urea and ammonium sulphate
