the main types of soil found in India are: 1. alluvial soil: there are two main types og alluvial soil bhangar or old alluvium and khadar or new alluvium.
2. black soil: as the name suggest this type of soil are generally black in colour.
3. red and yellow soil.

5. forest soil : this type of soil is also known as mountaneous soil and is found in mountain region and
