when is the work done force by positive ,negative .,zero

When we try to move an object say a box, we apply force on it and displace it from its original position, in this situation work done force is POSITIVE.

On the other hand when we try to push a wall, it does not move from its original place, in this case work done force is ZERO.

Now try considering to push a bicycle which is already moving in the opposite direction to which we are applying force. In this situation when a body is overcoming and opossing a direction from which external force is applied work done force is NEGATIVE.
