a) Red sandstone

The Red Fort was erected by none other than the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan to serve as the palace stronghold for his capital Shahjahanabad. The red stronghold, which is spread over 255 acres, features a blend of architectural styles similar to Islamic, Hindi, Timurid, and Persian. Its massive,2.5- km-long enclosing walls are made of red sandstone and that’s where the monument got its name from. Many corridors of the stronghold is also made of red gravestone while the remaining structure is erected using marble.

b) Marble

The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble tomb in the Indian megacity of Agra. The construction was started in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to house the grave of his favourite woman Mumtaz Mahal. This monument is considered one of the topmost architectural achievements in Indian culture.

c) Yellow sandstone

Famously known as the Golden Fort of Rajasthan, Jaisalmer Fort was constructed by Raja Jaisal, Rajput sovereign in the time 1156 announcement. It's one of the largest castles in the world and its golden-yellow sandstone gives it a golden look.
