Hey there,
It is known that a plant shows positive phototropism. And so when it is exposed to unidirectional light, it obviously moves towards the direction of light and so the stems become weaker due to improper shape, and therefore the transportation of substances is restricted.
The hormone responsible for the bending of stem is known as auxin.
Hope it may help..

The list of the sequence of events that occur due to the plant being exposed to a source of a unidirectional type of light, till the activity of bending of the shoot is stated below:
- When the source of unidirectional light falls on a plant, the auxin hormones that are present in the plant show directional movement. they tend to move from the lighter region of the plant stem towards the darker region of the stem. Due to the falling of the unidirectional light, the amount of auxins developing on the darker side increases, and the lighter region does not have many auxins. This increases the rate of growth on the darker side and the plant stem in the darker region grows faster. This in turn causes the plant shoot to bend towards the unidirectional light region.
- The hormone responsible for this type of movement is known as Auxins. Auxins are regarded as master growth hormones and help in the growth of the plant.
- The name of type of movement in this plant growth is known as Phototropism.
Hence, the list of sequences along with the name of the type of movement and the hormone responsible for it has been stated in the above paragraph.
