To make a temporary Mount of leaf's peel to observe the stomata. The step by step of needed procedure is listed below;

1) hold the leaf with the dorsal side facing towards you.

2) fold the leave to make a crag into the leaf.

3) Tear along the crack to make the leaf's small segment.

4) put the segment inside a water filled watch glass put a few drops of safranin into that watch class.

5) after sometime take out that segment from that of watch glass and put the segment into a another clean watch glass.

6) spread some glycerine on the segment, and put a cover slip on it.

Clean the excess safranin and glycerine with a blotting paper.

And your temporary Mount is ready to study under the microscope.
