Answer:

The correct answer to the given question is explained in the explanation.

Explanation:

Installing computer software

Your computer's operating system is an important factor to consider when installing software. This is a basic program designed to manage the hardware and software resources of a computer.

Before installing any software, an important first step is to check your computer's configuration and the system requirements for the software. Your computer configuration must match the requirements of the installed software.

Sometimes installed software is compressed as a .RAR or .ZIP file. In these cases, before installing, you must extract these files and folders. To do this, it is essential that the decompression software be installed on your computer.

All computer software has a 'Readme' file. This 'Readme' file contains all the instructions needed to perform the installation process. Sometimes when you install software, it may ask you to install another program that is needed for the software to run properly. The computer may even prompt you to install support software once the installation is complete.

Before installing software, you should close all other programs and utilities. Some antivirus software applications may require you to turn off your firewall and disable your anti-virus software to install it.

Especially when installing software applications related to computer networks or browsing the web, it is advisable to turn off anti-virus software and firewalls before doing so.  Finally, to complete the installation, you may need to reboot your system

Computer Hardware Setup

With the development of technology, computer peripherals often Upgraded regularly and new and better devices are provided every day. To install one or more of them on your existing system, you must first unplug all power cords from the computer that is connected to the power source, before continuing with the hardware connection.

Hardware packages may include an accompanying CD containing software that helps your computer's operating system recognize the new hardware. Install this software before connecting the hardware to the computer, it must be restarted after the CD is finished installing. There are two different types of computer hardware. They are:

External hardware

External hardware includes all the peripherals that are connected externally to the desktop through various ports. These are USB, Serial and Parallel, Firewire, Bluetooth, PS/2 and PC Card. The installation of external hardware can be done by an ordinary user, even without much computer knowledge. They can be directly connected to the computer after shutting down.

Internal hardware

The internal hardware is a bit complicated and requires some basic knowledge of the computer's internal components. The CPU cabinet must be opened by removing the side panels. Next, you need to determine where you need to plug in your hardware. Then you need to plug in the hardware to be installed and make sure it sits properly in its slot.

Once the hardware is installed, the side panel and screws must be replaced in their original positions and all wires must be connected to their respective slots.
