there s a strong belief that plants originated from aquatic algae.
some of the adaptations are;
1.long branched roots that goes deep inside the soil which allows the plant to absorb nutrients .
2.thick epidermis cells aligned with cuticle which protects the plant
3.well developed vascular system which helps transportation of nutrients.
4.the seeds are protected by fleshy substance called fruits
5.well spread out branches which helps in photosynthesis.
