In the process of pollination pollen tube sticks to stigma and pollen tube is transferred via style and it reach to ovule .
Ovule is consist of two haploid polar nuclei and egg cell . when pollen tube reaches ovule it bursts and two pollen grains are released in to ovule one grain is combine with egg cell to form zygote it is known as fertilization and another grain combine with polar nuclei to form endometrium it is known as double fertilization .
this endometrium provides nourishment and nutrients to Zygote and ovule is converted into seed and ovary converted into fruit.
