the two types of food requirement for dairy animals are rough age and concentrate roughage includes fibrous diet where as concentrate includes vitamins minerals carbohydrates roughage should be given to animals in quantity of about 20 to 30 kgs where as concentrate should be given to dairy animals for about 4 to 5 kgs
