Preparation of benzene from alkynes:- Benzene is prepared from ethyne by the process of cyclic

polymerisation. To prepare it,there should be a temperature

of 873 K and ethyne is passed throught a red- hot iron tube.

preparation of benzene from aromatic acids:-To prepare benzene, we would take aromatic acid

through decarboxylation reduction. Though this process

the sodium salt of benzoic acid is heated with soda lime

to produce benzene along with sodium carbonate.

Preparation of benzene from phenol:- By using phenol, we can reduce benzene. It is process

reduction of phenol .To complete the process of reduction

We ab is passed over heated zinc dust. Then zinc does to

reduce them to form benzene.

Preparation of benzene from sulfonic acids:- Sulphonic acid prepared benzene, if it is under the

goes processs of hydrolysis..To hydrolysis the sulfonic

acid , it should be superheated and it lead to the

formationn of benzene.

C6H5-SO3H + H2O ----> C6H6 + H2SO4
