Area of shaded region :

area of rectangle = l×b
>> 21×14= 294cm^2

Diameter of circle=14cm
radius=7cm
area of semi circle = πr^2/2
= 22/7 × 7×7 /2
= 77 ,cm^2

Area of shaded region:
294-77
217cm^2

Area Of Shaded Region = Area Of rectangles - area of semi circle.

Since BC=14cm is diameter of given semicircle.

Therefore, Radius of the given semicircle = 7 cm.

Area Of semicircle = πr²=22/7*7*7= 154 cm

Area Of rectangle = (21*14)cm = 294 cm²

Area Of shaded Region = (308-77)cm= 231 cm
