Fungi show the saprophytic mode of nutrition. Saprophytic Nutrition: In this type of nutrition the organism depends on the dead and decaying matter of other organisms for their food. The fungi like Rhizopus, Penicillium, Mucor (pin mould), Yeast are the other examples of Saprophytes.
