1st- Draw a number line. 2nd- Mark numbers on it. 3rd- Make 4 parts between the number 1 and 2. 4th- Name them as 1, 72,73,74. 5th- Make dots between 1 and 72.

⦁We can locate \rm{\sqrt{3}} on number line by using a compass.

⦁We know that, O is the center and radius OD. Now let's draw an arc which intersects the number line at the point Q.

⦁Therefore, now the point Q = \rm{\sqrt{3}}
