We know that lox(X)-log(y)=log(x÷y) and xlog(y)=log(y^x) therefore the above problem can be solved as-
Log((X+4)/7)=log(2^3÷x+5)
(X+4)÷7=8÷(X+5)
(X+4)(X+5)=56
X²+5x+4x+20=56
X²+9x-36=0
X²+3x-12x-36=0
X(X+3)-12(X+3)=0
X=12 or X=-3
