• In a joint sitting, if there is a discrepency betwwen the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha, the will of the Lok Sabha prevails. This is becuase the Lok Sabha is a larger house and all matters are determined by means of majority (absolute majority) in votes.
• Money Bills can only be introduced in the Lok Sabha. These bills are then sent to the Rajya Sabha for reviewing. The Rajya Sabha may send their recommendations within a 14-day window. They do not have the power to annul a money bill.
• Council of Ministers are directly responsable to the Lok Sabha. The power of initiating a no-confidence motion against an entire ministry lies with the Lok Sabha.
