Given :   3 x 5 , 6 x P  ,  Q x 5  add up to 64

Q is 1 more than P

To Find :  P + Q

Solution:

3 x 5 = 15

6 x P  = 6P

Q x 5  = 5Q

15 + 6P + 5Q = 64

=> 6P + 5Q  = 49

Q is 1 more than P

=> Q = P + 1

6P + 5(P + 1) = 49

=> 6P + 5P + 5 = 49

=> 11P = 44

=> P = 4

Q = P + 1 = 4 + 1

=> Q = 5

P + Q  = 4 + 5 = 9

Correct answer is P +  Q = 9
