The tidal waves show the physical effect of moon that is hard to conceive and is proven to be seen. The moon acts as a nice reflecting body of the sun's light moderates it and due to some possible unknown effect is the cause of life to be born. Without the moon the earth could be lifeless. There is really some underlying cause to be studied and understood.
