Loook at the given diagram. Do you think that the electric current flowing through portion AB the same current flowing through BCD and BED?​

Yes it will be equal to current flowing through BCD and BEd taken together.(sum of current through bcd and bed)

Because current divided when it enters two bulbs but it recombines and flows to arm Ab.


SamyukthaK: NO THE CURRENT FLOWING THROUGH AB WILL BE MORE THAN THE CURRENT FLOWING THROUGH BCD AND BED. IT WILL BE THE SUM OF THAT FLOWING THROUGH BCD OR BED

the electric current flowing through AB will be same as electric current flowing through BCD and BED taken together because the current is divided in a parallel combination and when the current through parallel combination is taken together it will be same as that offered by the battery to the circuit.
