LPG is stored in a cyclinder as a liquid when you burn it in the stove it is in the stove

LPG is storrd in liquid form at high pressure inside the cylinder.Once the pressure is reduced at the regulator ,liquid LPG is converted into gaseous LPG and flow to burner slightly at higher pressure than atmospheric...only change is reduction in liquid LPG pressure and become gas at outside temperature.
