I think I wrote this question as my Extension Task in Biology. This is what I wrote...

a) Transabdominal Ultrasound

b) Pelvic organs are inside the pelvis and cannot be routinely seen in the ultrasound. When the patient drinks 2-3 glasses of water, the urinary bladder becomes full and the pelvic structures are easily seen.
