Atomicity of a molecule refers to number of atoms it has , for example CO2 is triatomic , O2 is diatomic . But note NH4NO3 is actually (NH4+)(NO3-) so it actually is a ionic compound where NH4+ has atomicity of 5 and NO3- has atomicity of 4 .
