Narration as per english grammar is a kind of speech which is of two kinds - (A) Direct speech and (B) Indirect speech.
The direct speech has three parts :
● The speaker
● Reporting verb
● Reported speech
CONSIDER AN EXAMPLE :-
1) He said, "I am ill"
He - The speaker
said - Reporting verb
"I am ill'' - Reported speech
------------IMPERATIVE SENTENCES--------------
A sentence that expresses a command, request or an entreaty is called an Imperative sentence.
EXAMPLES :- 1) Please sit down.
2) Stand up on the bench.
3) Don't write in red ink.
----------- EXCLAMATORY SENTENCES----------
A sentence which expresses surprise, pity, wonder, sorrow or some sudden feeling is called an exclamatory sentence.
EXAMPLES :- 1) What a lovely weather it is !
2) How bad !
3) Alas ! I haven't done the homework
