LTE: How does up-link traffic flow template work at UE side ?

Hello,

The Uplink TFT is established by the PCRF and sent to the UE in the context setup messages. DL filtering is done in the P-GW and it's TFT is also established in the PCRF.

NAS-level specification 24.301, Chapter 9.9.4.15 has a short description about TFT in general. When you search through 24.301 with "traffic flow", you can also easily see e.g. the NAS-level messages that contain traffic flow template. If you want to see the actual filter contents, please refer to 24.008, Chapter 10.5.6.12.

I understand Chapter 9.9.4.15 in a way that also UE can request UL TFT -filter.
