Answer:

i) 1 % loss

ii)

Step-by-step explanation:

i) sp for 1st saree =1980 loss of 10%

         if 90%=1980

   cp of 100%=2200

sp of 2nd saree = 1980 gain of 10%

        if 110%=1980

    cp of 100%=1800

cp of 2 sarees are 2200+1800=4000

sp of 2 sarees are 1980+1980=3960

Loss%= CP-SP/CP*100

       =4000-3960/4000*100

       =1% loss

ii)sp of 1st fan is 1140 gain of 14%

       if 114%=1140

   cp of 100%=1000

sp of 2nd fan is 1140 loss of 5%

       if 95%=1140

  cp of 100%=1200

there fore cp of 2 fans are 1000+1200=2200

sp of 2 fans are 1140+1140=2280

Gain%=SP-CP/CP*100

          =2280-2200/2200*100

          =3  7/11 % gain
