hey there !!

M bought horse of rupees = 13125000

it means p = 13125000, R = 10% , time(n) = 3

therefore ,,

amount = p(1-r/100)ⁿ

A = 13125000(1-10/100)³

A = 13125000(9/10)³

A = 13125000×9×9×9

A = 9568125 rupees

hence the depreciated amount of horse after 3 years will be 9568125 rupees.

hope it helps !!

TooFree: Put it simply .. it should be calculated based on compound formula
PADMINI: @himanshu , you should not take 30% as whole because in 2nd year the price of the horse change so

Given P = 13125000, R = 10%, Time n = 3 years.

A = P(1 - r/100)^n

= > 13125000(1 - 10/100)^3

= > 13125000(9/10)^3

= > 13125 * 9 * 9 * 9

= > 9568125.

Therefore, the value of a horse after 3 years = 9568125.

Hope it helps!
