minimum contribution of Japan a decade back > 66/7 % if Japan & US semiconductor production increased by 300% & 200%

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say Total Production = 100

Let say Japan contribution  = J

and US contribution = J + X

J + J + X = 22

=> 2J + X = 22

Japan contributed 300% more

=> J + (300/100)J = 4J

US contributed 200%more.

=> (J + X) + (200/100)(J + X)  =  3(J + X)

4J > 3(J + X)

=> J > 3X

2J + X = 22

=> 2(3X) + X < 22

=> 7X < 22

=> X < 22/7

2J + X = 22

2J = 22 - X

J would be minimum for max X

=> 2J = 22 - 22/7

=> J > 66/7

4J + 3(J + X)  ≤ 100

7J + 3X ≤ 100

This is also satisfied with  J = 66/7 & X = 22/7

minimum contribution of Japan a decade back > 66/7 %
