निर्दोष आणि सर्वगुण संपन्न असणारे एकमेव व्यक्तिमत्व 'छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज' हे माझे आदर्श आहेत. शत्रूला चारीमुंड्या चित करणे, हा तर त्यांचा हातखंडा. महाराजांचा इतिहास हा मुघल, ब्रिटिश, फेंच अशा परकीयांनीच लिहिला आहे. ज्यांनी महाराजांच्या विरोधात अनेक लढाया लढल्या, त्या विरोधकांनीच महाराजांचा इतिहास लिहिला असताना, त्यात महाराजांच्या चारित्र्यावर एकही काळा डाग सापडणार नाही.
