The question itself is irrelevant. Why are you adding up the amount left after making a purchase?. Let me make it clear. Suppose you have ₹8 with you. You spent ₹2 on something, you are left with ₹6, and then you spent ₹ 1 on something, you are left with ₹ 5 and then you spent ₹ 5 on something, you are left with ₹0. If add up all the money you spent on things.. you will get ₹8 which is the money you originally had BUT if you the money left with you after each purchase, you get ₹ 11 (₹6 + ₹5). It's so because you are adding up the leftover money with you and the result will always be (most probably) be greater than the money you originally had !
