Madhav wants to cover the floor of a room 5 long and 4 wide by squared tiles. If each square tile is of side 50, then find the number of tiles required to cover the floor of the room.
Pls help me! I will not be able to get good marks in my exam. I am so bad at math.

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of floor=l*b=4m*5m=20m²=2,00,000cm²

Area of tile=side²=50cm²=2500cm²

THEREFORE number of tiles required to cover the floor=200000/2500=80 tiles

80 tiles is the answer
