The difference between magnetic field and electric field is,
Magnetic field
The magnetic field is the area around the magnet where the poles of the magnet exhibit attracted or repulsive forces.

Electric field
The force that surrounds an electrically charged particle is known as the electric field or electric field intensity. In other words, electric field is the area where the lines of force exist and influence the electric charge.
- The electric field is denoted by 'E'.
