Magnetic field lines intersect each other. Why?

Magnetic feild line doesnot litersect each other because if they do so then the compass should show 2 directions which is however not possible

Magnetic field lines do not intersect one another
• because then at the point of intersection the compass needle would have to show deflection towards two sides which is not practically possible
• also at the point of intersection two tangents would have to be drawn , and we know that no two tangents can be drawn from a single point of a circle
