The type of lens can be either concave or convex, depending on where the object is kept. The nature of the image formed is virtual and erect.

Hope this helps you... Please mark it as brainliest!!!

Answer:

Type of lens:-Concave/Convex

Nature of image:-virtual and erect

Explanation:

Since we know that

(M=V/U)

=) +2=V/-U. {U is always -ve}

=) V= -2U

since we get V= -ve,so the image will be on the same side of the lens.It is possible in both the lenses.

1) Concave lens - Object is at any position

2) Convex lens - Object is btwn P and F¹
