Magnification = 1/n.

According to mirror formula, object distance = f(n-1).

we can write Object Distance = R/2 (n-1).

Image distance = (R/2n)(n-1).

Convex mirrors produce images that are virtual, diminished and erect.

Therefore image distance is negative.
