The convex mirror always produce the magnification B) less than 1.  

If the reflecting surface is on the outer side, then it is known as convex mirror.

This is because of the fact that whatever image formed by convex mirror is smaller than size of the object. Magnification is the ratio of size of image to size of the object.

This happens despite of the position of the object is kept in front of convex mirror as it always forms "virtual, erect and smaller image".
