Mahadavi verma was born in March 1907 .was one poet novelist of hindi. She is considered as one of the four major pillars of the chhayawedi are in hindi literature. She has been also addressed as the mordern meera .Verma had witnessed India both before and after independence..She was one of those poet who worked for wider society of india.Not only of her property but also her social upliftment and welfare development among woman were also depicted deeply in her writings. These largely influenced not only the readers but also the critics specialy through her novel Deepshikha.
