Step by step explanation:-

Answer :- 6 days

Given :-

  • Mahas complete work in 10 days
  • Same work Suresh complete in 15days

To find :-

  • How many days They will jointly complete work

Solution :-

One day work of Mahas is \sf\dfrac{1}{10}

One day work of Suresh is \sf\dfrac{1}{15}

Total work done by both in one day is \sf\dfrac{1}{10} + \sf\dfrac{1}{15}

Taking LCM to denominators

LCM of 10, 15 is 30

= \sf\dfrac{3+2}{30}

= \sf\dfrac{5}{30}

= \sf\dfrac{1}{6}

So, total work done by both in one day is \sf\dfrac{1}{6}

So, they completes 1/6 th part of work in 1 day

Since they complete the work in 6 days
