mahatma gandhi the father of nation was born on oct2nd at porbandar in gujrat.he was a great freedom figher who had helped to gain freedom from british rule through peace.he was assasinated in 1948 soon after the independence by nathuram godse.he was a advocate and he had inspired the africans to fight against racism and colonialism.he had started many movements to achieve freedom like salt satyagraha,quit india etc.he also gave a slogan DO OR DIE.
